MCCAP Program

El Puente CHE Institute Promotoras de Salud (Health Promoters) are helping local community members access and understand the public health insurance system in New York State through the state Managed Care Consumer Assistance Program (MCCAP). The Promoters organzize community group workshops on health insurance options, conduct one-on-one counseling, and assist individuals and families through the state health care system to access quality health care.
