El Puente operates three Leadership Centers for community/youth development in Brooklyn; one at its headquarters in Williamsburg, one at MS 50 in Williamsburg, and a third in Bushwick. Using a holistic approach for the development of body, mind, spirit and community, El Puente's leadership development approach, bridges social action with the performing and visual arts and integrates El Puente Academy and Community Health and Environment (CHE) Institute initiatives to promote peace and justice in our community and beyond. Members of the El Puente Leadership Centers engage in proactive experiences as part of an exciting and creative community center membership process that inspires them to organize and address social justice issues. |
